Maintenance Contract about to expire...what to fix?
Coming up on 3yrs of the maintenance warranty. Wondering what I should make sure they do for me before it actually expires. The car is a Cooper S with 25K miles on it.
I would ask if they can inspect for carbon buildup and clean if required. Even though it is not scheduled maintenance, maybe they can cut you a deal if you need to have it cleaned. See if you need new wipers as well, those are covered (at least they were in my extended maintenance package), but the customer needs to complain. Other than that, the car tells them what to do (brakes, brake fluid, oil changes).

Is the light on saying they need replacing (or at least close, check the service menu to see how many miles till it's due)? If not, they won't replace them.
Thank you, need to check that one.

As much as I'd tell you to get the brakes done, they won't do it before the sensor trips or the service-info shows less than 4,000 miles until the brakes are due.
They replaced my fronts just before the program expired and it was a joke. I only received new pads. Rotors were not resurfaced or even cleaned. Now 3,000 miles later I need new rotors, so I'll probably just replace the pads as well.
