They Labeled the Countryman
I'm very excited to see that MINI is labeling the cars now. I came across this and had to post it!

Sorry but I think it is horrible! Dental floss sales will be going up as a result.

Yikes! No thanks. Looks like something out of the Lilian Vernon catalog. I'd just as soon have:
Y O U R N A M E H E R E

Welcome to NAM! Did you get a CM?
This is kind of yesterday's news
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-boot-lid.html
but it confirms that the ones coming to the US will indeed have the booty stamp.
Now we can really start debating whether with is better than without.

I want to see how they make it work with my sport stripes. Of course I am only two weeks into the wait and would take anything at this stage

Reminds me of the olden days when all the automakers felt the need to turn all deck-lids aka "boots" into billboards. While I agree that not every model should be labeled "COOPER" - I don't like covering the entire boot with that nonsense. Nothing a good blowdryer and some floss can't fix.

let the debate begin. I will start the debate off with:
I S T I L L T H I N K I T S U X

HAHAHAH, I think it looks cool in person; however, I do agree that it does not have to be so large. I like the thought of badging the cars with their actual names. Maybe in smaller font under Cooper. Or eliminating cooper and just adding the name?

It's far too busy with the "MINI," "Cooper S," and now the "C O U N T R Y M A N."
I like it better than the "Cooper S" but I think I still prefer plain.

It's too much going on back there. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I actually like it. May look to add it to my 2012 CM.

I actually like it, though I think if I were to add them after the fact, I would stick the letters much closer together, instead of the way Mini applies them.

Its Hideous..Though I did opt for de-badged when I got my CM. So apart from the fact I have 1 exhaust pipe, no one can tell if mine is a One or Cooper or Diesel or petrol

I Photoshopped the letters closer together, but I'm not sure it makes it any better.

Nice. Now try putting it under the "MINI" badge and delete the "Cooper S" and I think you might have something.

Yes I am not sure as to why they are giving them tramp stamps. Just ugly IMO!

Watch, next time you are in for service it will be a bulletin and they will secretly add it to every pre-'13 that comes in, lol.
