aftermarket cruse control question

I've just bought a 2009 Mini Cooper, but I want to install cruse control. Does anyone know about resolving this problem?

Generally, the consensuses has been can't really do it...no like the old days of getting a add-on from JC-WHITNY....heck did that in a honda once...but the whole drive by wire thing complicates things a bit...

It can be retrofitted. I think Way has done it before. I also think Porthos has done it.

For the 100th time MFSW can be retrofitted into your car. I have done it myself and have documented the process several times. Everything can be retrofitted you just have to have the time and the money.

The title of the thread is "aftermarket"...kinda implies he was looking for a $300 kit...

Its the guys first post, give the newbie a break. not sure of the tone you wrote this in but if it irks you THAT much about people asking repetitious questions, don't feel obligated to answer. Where's the welcoming atmosphere? Don't be the grumpy old man at the end of the block that keeps all the baseballs that fly into his yard.

Cruise control is built into the car, with the electric throttle by wire system the old days of having a physical pull on the throttle is long gone!

Retrofitting the Multi Function Steering Wheel is the best option. Most vehicles starting late 2007 should have the proper SZL (steering column computer module) for the buttons on the wheel to just plug in. It will require coding at the dealer or using NCS Expert.

Dude really, it was not directed at the OP at all. It was directed at those who keep saying that it is not possible to retro fit MFSW. Thanks for trying and have a nice day.
