I ran the BSH street mount on my car for a few years. Fitment was perfect and the improvement in response feels awesome.

I took it off and sold it though. My car is a daily driver and eventually the vibration got to me. It made the whole car vibrate and the interior panels would vibrate at different rpms. Went I went back to the stock mount the car felt like new again, super smooth and rattle free.

It's nice if you're going to the track or auto-x, but definitely not for a daily.

+1

I have one for sale if you are interested. After installing it, I decided after only a day that it wasn't for daily driving due to the added noise and vibrations. Anyhow, PM me if interested.

Has anyone used both the BSH street as well as the NM? How do they compare? I'm guessing the BSH is stiffer.

NM takes out the slop. Makes things slightly sharper. Little if any vibration added. Too Cold...

BSH takes it to 11. Love the steering feel. Laser sharp inputs. Horrible vibration and noise at 2700rpm... It backed the nuts off the downpipe brackets after 600 miles. Too Hot!

I will install BSH before Solo Nationals, but run NM for DD.

Still looking for just right... Picked up Powerflexes new Black Series insert but haven't tested it.

It did, thanks for the info. The NM is definitely too little for my style, or maybe I've just gotten used to it.
Think it's time to try the BSH...

DIY Motor Mount

I've tried both the black inserts and the BSH mount......this solution has worked out perfectly.

Why?
What problem does it solve by transmitting more vibration from the engine to the chassis?

hey guys so I had the bsh engine mount and removed it because of the vibrations inside the car.
i'd like to know from someone who has tried the power flex black, street and the bsh mount.
How do they compare?
Does the power flex black give you the same amazing feeling and feedback you get with the bsh but without the vibrations?
can you get the power flex top mounts and mount that with the bsh? Will that eliminate the irritating vibration?
let us know what is the best solution is.

The power flex black is pretty tight, if you go power flex and you want a better feel go with the performance series.

Yep.

Here is the full line. The engine support is a large and small bushing. Listed.

^^^ these powerflex bushings you posted, are these only for fitment in the STOCK lower motor mount, or you saying you can use these in the BSH or NM versions that's offered. I saw this post by Gipper that claims that the lower motor mounts need to be modified to ensure the smaller end isn't metal on metal (as this is whats causing the vibration everyone is complaining about). https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ngineered.html

I had my BSH loosen bolts after a while ,causing rattling so I tightened the BGee's out of them. That introduced more vibration than I had before. Could'nt figure that out. But eventually I removed the BSH , reinstalled the OEM mount and like the other poster mentioned the car felt new again. I think the BSH center spacer crushes under the bolt torque causing the rubber to become really squeezed more than it was designed for and causing more vibration. This could be fixed by adding spacers , but I took it off. So I do have one for sale
