Shifting Issue.... 4th to 5th

I am having a slight grind shifting into 5th gear.. I am worried it might be a syncro? any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it IS a syncro, not anything you can do since they are not sold separately...so only solution IF it is a synro (unless you learn to revmatch, trucker style, up AND down for that gear), is to swap the tranny.
So IMO, rule out the other issues....so check the cables, make sure the tranny fluid is full, and appropriate (LSD vs NO LSD) and I would look at the Masters/slave just to be sure there is FULL travel and no leaks/weeps. Since it is ONLY ONE gear, you might be right, but still, look at the simple cheap stuff IMO.

rev matching is not helping nor is double clutching... I will change the fluid this week. I do need to figure out what tranny fluid to run, being the tranny has an OS giken clutch LSD
