Need Keys, Suggestion

Ok, I just purchased a used 2005 MCS that only came with (1) non fob key. I am wanting to get (2) cut fob remote keys. Ideally i would not like to donate my first born to the dealer so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is a way to assemble a working remote key by transferring the immobilizer smart chip (that allows starting the car) from your current key and using the innards of a used (cheap) remote key. It's a hassle to do all of the steps, but would save some money and yield one remote key. See this: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...for-cheap.html

For an additional key, you'll need another immobilizer chip coded to your car's VIN. I suppose you can order a non-remote key from your dealer (they aren't too expensive) and save some money by going through all the steps again to assemble a remote key, but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.

ONLY option is to go to the dealer....sorry.
if you get e-bay keys, and have them cut, you will be able to open the doors, maybe be able to sync them with the remote, but THEY WILL NEVER START the car due to the imoblizer chip...so just swallow head, and call/go to the dealer...bring prof of ownership, and they will order them.
At one point somebody had post about a place that used imoblizer CLONE chips,(they cloned his one working key, then put the cloned chip in the new keys) but a few weeks later..said they did not work...and the poster was in eastern Europe.....
Right now you only OWN ONE imoblizer chip..so no matter how you do it, even if you were to experiment, you will only have one functioning key.
