Adding front plate

I have moved from FL to NH so need to add a front license plate to a 2007 S. Before I drill holes, can someone tell me what is behind the two points in the front bumper that seem ready for the plate. Are there threaded holes behind the plastic cover or are they just the suggested place to put self tapping screws into the bumper? Any suggestions on the best way to add a plate? Thanks

I'm guessing you're talking about the tow hook mount, several vendors make a plate bracket for it. I wish I knew about them before I drilled my holes...

Here's the first one I found searching, others will no doubt chime in:

Edit:
ohhh I just realized what you meant. Yes, they're just dimples for locating the screws. There aren't any threaded holes behind them - just plastic.

Yes the dimples just use self tapping screws into the plastic.

But if you don't want to cut holes in the bumper you can use the craven plate mount
