Well, it looks like we're the charter members. We picked up our copper beauty yesterday, and gave her a proper shakedown today. It was a cloudy German winter day, so we're not quite sure how she'll look in broad daylight, but she ran great!

We've named her Cider.

Oh, and then we went and bought the stupid iPod cable...

 

I thought it was goung to look like a dayglo tangerine, BUT this color is dead gorgeous! Congrats.

 

Looks great and damn you MINI for not having this color from the start as I would've ordered it.

Looks great, nice to see some real world photos of this color. It looks pretty similar to the Hot Chocolate color from the past few years.

Hope you'll post some more photos when the sun comes out...

 

It does look nice. This color is the only thing I am waiting on to get my countryman. I have to see it in person first. I think I will go with a black roof and black wheels also.

 

Here are three more, after two days of break-in driving. Still haven't had a chance to capture the brighter copper color you get in full sun.

 

I was out at Sterling (VA) MINI yesterday and they had a few of these scattered around the lot. It seems that MINI is keeping to tradition with the new colors. First one I saw was from behind in the shade. Major blah. Then one from the front in bright sun. Very nice. The rest from various angles in various light and all gave a different impression. Seems to be, overall, a nice addition to the MINI palette, but not what I expected and not for me. The day one advice still holds - you have to look at a MINI many, many times before you can pick a color.

 

I agree about looking at a Mini many times before a color is pickes. Im going through this right now. I'm ordering a paceman and I just can't figure it out.

 

My copper beauty is on order! Black accents though.

 

Finally, I'm not presiding over a one-member club! Did you get to see the color in person before you ordered?

 

I didn't actually! But as soon as I saw the option I was in love. I have been waiting for them to come out with a color that grabbed me in the countryman model and as soon as I saw it I knew that was it.

 

I love the copper! They never had that option when I got mine.

 

That's why I held off getting one, none of the colors the past years have really made me want to make the move. I love the kite blue color in the other models but you can't get it in the countryman. But the copper is great, I love it. Valentine's Day isn't going to come fast enough. (My expected delivery date.)

 

Love it! True Blue will always have my heart, but I'm thinking Brilliant Copper might be my second favorite.

Kind of like our Light Coffee can't seem to catch the true beauty of the color in a picture and looks different in evey light!

 

I really want to see an all copper with black wheels!!

Me and my wife ordered one back in dec and we should have it next month. we did the copper and black theme and we got the black rims so pics to come.

 

Well, my girl is awaiting transport. I'm dying here!! I only have a partial VIN at the moment so I can't see if she is on WW's transport roster. I just hope she gets on the next available boat!!
