My wife and I was informed today that we should have ours hear in the UK in the next 2-3 weeks. We can't wait to see it in person.

 

I didn't put a bra on my Countryman, in the hopes the car will become chipped enough that I am forced to repaint - then I can just re-do the whole thing in Brilliant Copper...

So the dealer informed us that our mini will leave germany tomorrow and that it will be here in the uk on tues the 12th or wed the 13th. I'll post pics as soon as I get them but we will not be able to drive it for a week while the light mods and paperwork gets done.

 

Ill probably finally have mine on the 12th or 13th as well here in the states! Yay. Mini birthdays together.

 

So my wifes mini came in. first one in this color for our area as well. We are waiting on light mod and paperwork so we can drive it hear in england. i can't wait to take it out for a spin. enjoy the pics.

 

Ugh, rub it in. Mine is still sitting on the docks in Baltimore.....going on a week now.

That is true. I think I would be happy just to see mine at this point. She is just sitting somewhere between the VDC and the dealer. The dealer gave me a loaner today, a relatively nice 12 countryman. So it is at least giving me a bit of something to soothe the savage beast.

 

Yeah its hard knowing that the mini is just setting there waiting and i live 4 mile from the dealer. lol. At least they told me the light mod and insp is CW. Just waiting on the paperwork now.

 

I'm picking her up in about an hour and a half!!! Got a call from my MA an hour ago!! I'm so excited!!!

 

That is great news. I'm waiting on one piece of paper to come in before i can drive ours. this is killing us To know it's setting in the show room locked and waiting. Post some pics.

Joshuabowman, I was going to ask about the left-hand drive on a UK car, but then I squinted and saw that you got her at Bavarian Motor Cars. Say no more! (Cider came through Pentagon.)

 

Yeah Bavarian Motor Cars rock for getting a us spec car hear in the UK. I did have to have the uk lights put on her which have the amber turn signals and the Right rear fog light.

looks good, we have not had a good sunny day yet. So 3 copper minis and all three are different. just goes to show all the possibilities there are. we want to get tint next month and that will be the first mod. lol

I checked our GPS, which I had been neglecting to do, and found that Cider's top speed, to date, was 106 MPH. I know she has more in her, but I'm not sure how much more I have in me...

I wish I was going through the break in period. Its still waiting on the stupid UK paperwork so we can drive it over hear. It has 5 miles on the ticker and its locked at the dealer. But I do have a key at least. Lol! I hate that we have the brand new mini and I cant even drive it.

 

I'm here!! Just hit over 100 miles (2days old)!!! I LOVE HER!!!! still can't get good shots, snowing, raining, gotta get some sun for the metallic paint!!!

 

I pick up my brilliant copper Countryman tomorrow and I'm so excited - especially after seeing these photos. I bought the color based on just the swatch at the dealer, but I just know I'm going to LOVE it because yours are gorgeous. I went with the copper top and no stripes, but with chrome side mirrors, blackjack side scuttles and rearview mirror cap.
