Anyone Taken Delivery on a 2013?

If yes, can you please post photos of the speedometer and tachometer trim? I understand the color is different versus 2012. Also, can you post photos of what the new door interior trim looks like (with the new window and mirror switchgear), thanks.

Thanks Dan! Exactly what I was looking for.

So lumbar support is now standard on all CM seats for 2013?

Apparently so. I sure hope so. I'll post something on that when I get my CM later this month.

Interesting in that the website very specifically says that you have to order optional seats to get the lumbar adjusters (as was the case in 2012)...but Puppet's photos seems to be proof that's not correct. I also noticed that the photos on the configuator show the 2012 color of the trim surrounding the speedometer, not the darker 2013 color shown in one of Puppet's photos.

Don't know for the seats, but the trim is the same as on pics, not like the configurator

Good, I thought the old color looked cheap.

please understand I was commenting on the photos posted by Puppet in the other thread. So far, the only 2013 CMS photos I've seen with the black speedo trim are black & red models. The configurator still shows the (yes, cheap-looking) grey plastic trim and I have yet to see photos of other 2013 CMS models with black trim around the speedo. Anyone else?

The pics MINI released showing the 2013 updates showed all black, but it looked like it was a flat black. If you look on the MINI UK configurator, it looks like a matte black too. I should get mine sometime next week and I'll update pics.

Are 2013 CM's with leatherette sport seats arriving with adjustable lumbar support? Thanks.

Excellent. That was not included in earlier model years unless leather or cloth/leather was ordered. I think it is a plus, especially given that there is no power seat option.

Just a dumb thought. Is there a chance that all Countryman models with sport seats now have the dial for lumbar...and the dial does nothing for anyone with leatherette? Has anyone with leatherette in a 2013 used the dial to change the lumbar and feel the difference?

I believe it was recently confirmed that 2013 leatherette does have lumbar adjustment. Did you try to do a search on leatherette or lumbar?

Hadnt had time to search it. Thought I had read that the dial for lumbar was there but dont remember reading that anyone had actually used the lumbar with leatherette to validate that it worked.

Haha, that's a thought! I just tried it on the way to work, and I could feel a difference, so it must actually work. I had the lumbar in my 2005 MCS but I remember setting it once and forgetting about it. So I can't really make a comparison about whether it works the same.

Thanks MiniDan,
Glad to hear that the Lumbar/Leatherette with sport seats is working. Basically its an unadvertised upgrade for the 2013 it seems. Most references/reviews on the 2013 talk about the window switches moved to the doors and the black trim around the speedo. Seems like its a nice comfort upgrade that Mini is not "highlighting" as much as one would think they would.
