R50/53 anyone tried to fit a R56 bumper to a R53?

anyone tried to fit a R56 bumper to a R53?
I want to change my R53 front bumper to the aero bumper and i wonder if it's possible to fit the R56 bumper to a R53. i know it means changing the grills also but could it be done without major modifications?
in short, no..not w/o major mod.. but it has been done. i am working on a gen2 jcw front bumper. you have to cut it and fuse it with a gen 1 
look at both and it will be easier to understand. good luck! there is someone making it i see on facebook but sorry can't remember it's name. i'll get back to you if i see it again.

Sorry -- you are completely right -- I think to the OP -- if you want a similar look to the R56..I think a bit of work with smoothing out a GP front bumper might be the easiest route. ..that would emulate an R56.

Pretty much the brake ducts and some of the parts behind the bumper will need not used or trimmed as you can see in the Aero I JCW body kit video above.
