I contacted Momentum BMW/Mini and they do not do pre-purchase inspections. Any indie mechanics you all recommend? I just put a deposit down on an 06 and want it checked out.

actually, another suggestion is www.bmrs.org

They have a directory of independent shops that specialize in BMW's and it looks like there are three in Houston. Odds are at least one of those will also work on MINI's if not all of them.
