So I have my new Countryman All4 waiting for me and just getting some stuff installed before I pick it up. Today I get a call from the dealer and he said he was just notified about a defect in the current line of Countryman JCW exhausts and the new "fixed" ones will not be out till November.

Anyone have any more information on this?

 

I should be picking it up next week and I guess I will ask some more questions, try to get some details and report back since it doesn't look like anyone knows lol.

 

Can't say that I've heard anything about this. If you want to ping someone about it, check with sewellparts.

 

Mine was just installed today. No mention of any problems. Was ordered last Tuesday.
Gotta go back to get tip lengths adjusted-shoulda looked before I left.

I'm jealous!!! Was looking fwd to getting mine installed before I picked it up. If I find out anything Monday (I'm going to call and see if they found out any more info) I'll post back.

 

Well I have no idea what it was and neither does my guy. I emailed him asking for more info mentioning the above statement that someone just ordered on and got it installed that day. Today he emailed me back saying "good news, it will be installed Thursday" so who knows right. Hopefully I'll be getting picking it up Friday if all works out!!!

 

Had my stock exhaust replaced for the JCW on my 2011 All4 S last Wednesday…no mention of any issues. Seems to sound better as the days go on...

 

Anyone can help me with the size of the shipping package? Even better if you have a picture? Thanks

I will post pics of the boxes (it comes in 2) and the install after we put it on tomorrow.
