I finally sold 2 of my 3 cars and the motorcycle, and got this:

It was used, with 6600 miles. It's got all 3 packages. It was a trade-in for a Camry. Go figure. Well it's mine now and I'm loving it.

Good trade.
What else do you have in the garage? Make a couple more trades for a couple more MINIs.
Cheers,

Now that's wheelin and dealin! Your car looks great. With only 6600 miles it's brand new. Have fun.

^ Well, maybe a "lunatic" who wants 4 doors and needs to carry passengers regularly.

DwC, what exactly is that color...gold? I don't think I've ever seen a gold one before (knew the color existed, but hadn't seen one). Congrats!

Actually, the wife is NOT into cars but she's provided several unsolicited accolades. I arrived home after midnight and she took the Mini out for a 30 minute run, immediately. Te Integra GS-R may be next to go. I'm hoping to postpone the next Mini until a 2006 can be ordered. I want the 140 horse engine and stripped bare for me. She can then drive this one.

The color is Solid Gold with a black roof. I hadn't seen any myself until I laid my hands on a full-color Mini brochure. There are some great pics in there of SG MCs. And after the Chicago Autoshow in the beginning of February, I knew that was the color I wanted. This beauty was listed on Autotrader and was only 225 miles away. I knew if I could find a used one, it would be a better deal. This one hasn't hit it's first oil change and it was way less than new. If I had ordered, I know I wouldn't have gotten all the packages but the wife loves the moonroof and the heated seats, and it's good to keep her happy.

Welcome to the Gold and Black club. There aren't many of these cars. As far as I know, in these parts, there are 3 in Az, 1 in S.Cal. and 1 in Las Vegas. have fun - find a long curvy road.

I traded a Camry for a MINI.

I didn't think I'd like the Gold until I saw a SG/B at the dealer. They are beautiful.

Good job!

Seriously though, as a whole Republicans (barring fascists) are better, faster drivers. MINIs are perfect for them

There was a gold MINI at the last MINI Meet that I attended. Rare, but very nice color! Nice trade!

I have seen a couple of solid-gold ones in Chicago as well. My dealer (Knauz Mini) had a fully decked out one on the showroom floor when i picked up mine. It was $26K! Yikes.
