I'm gauging interest for a NH MINI Group. I love what Minis of Boston is putting together for Wednesdays throughout the summer, but I'd like meets to be a bit closer to me. I live in Manchester, and I'm thinking that meets would be within about a 45 minute drive.

I've seen a few others around these parts that at least know to wave, so there must be at least a few of you lurking that are looking for people to cruise with.

I think it would be especially fun to get some people together this weekend to do some motoring, or just to meet up. I am available tonight (probably too late), all day tomorrow and all day on Monday. If this weekend doesn't work, I'd still like to get some more meets together.

Hey Nick, I live on the east side of Manchester. I have two R56s listed in my sig. It would awesome to get a group together to hang out and motor around. I see "alot" of Minis around here and usually on my daily commute to the seacoast and back to Manchester.

I've spotted a Lightning blue MCS around afew times. Could that be you? I wave at every Mini and rarely get a reply wave back. Usually I get a dirty look or blank stare.

I'm in the progress of blacking out the chrome on the MCS. Tried plastic dip but that did not come out to my liking. So I ordered up the Mini black line pieces. Black headlight and taillight light trim. I also picked up the black JCW front grille surrounds. Not sure how I'm going to black out the door handles and gas filler door. Also ordered Outmotoring Gen2 belt line tape. I think I'll have to redo that over. Alot of bubbles.

My first bolt on mod is to test two exhaust down pipes for work.

If it was me, and I didn't wave, I probably didn't see you. My girl makes fun of me for saying "Miniiii" every time we see one on the road, and I make a point to wave whether I get a wave or not. LOL

I live close to the new police station at Lincoln and Silver, so I'm not far from you. I've had a couple people PM me, so there's definitely interest. I'll try to get some dates figure out, or a Google doc / survey setup.

Ice cream shops seem to be a popular car meeting spot, so maybe we can work on a crawl of sorts around middle and southern New Hampshire. A new spot every week or so.

I'll definitely keep you updated, and if you know anyone else that's interested, direct them over here so that so we can keep them informed.

 

Greetings! I'm a soon to be Goffstown MINI owner. I have an R60 coming to me with an ETA of ~6/8.

Once I'm part of the club I'd be interested in some of these meets. I think my two boys (2.5 and 5 yrs old) would get a kick out of it.

What day are we thinking? A lot of times I have Sunday afternoon and evening free, and more times than not, I have weeknights free as well. Puritan Backroom, Goldenrod, etc for ice cream sometime next week?

The GoldenRod is always packed just about every night when I drive by on my way home. But there is a large parking lot next door we can park in. Any day of the week works for me.

Who else is interested? The last few days I've seen a few modded Minis around Manchester and Auburn. And I came up behind a gray R56 S with tinted windows tonight on 101.

 

I've seen a bunch as well. I guess I'll have to figure out how to get the word out. Maybe Mini of Bedford can help spread the word?

 

There is was a Monadnock Area Mini group, but their website has seemingly been abandoned, and they supposedly met in Keene on a semi-regular basis. Maybe someone at Concord Motorsports knows something also... I'll ask them.

 

Do you have any contacts at Mini of Bedford? I only know Jeff and Van. Van is a member on here. His screen name is WeaverNH.

I've been mentioning to very about every MINI customer that I talk to at work that we are trying to get a small group going.

Are you on any of the other forums? I can post something on bimmerforums.

 

NAM is the only Mini forum that I'm on. I've only dealt with a couple of people at MoB, but they seem alright. Thought maybe I'd just see if they knew of any other groups getting together so that I don't step on any toes... LOL

So post away on the bimmerforum. I'm also not getting subscription emails to this thread for some reason... I'll have to look into that as well.

 

I'm not receiving subscription email either. I wouldn't worry about stepping on anyones toes since it seems no one else posts about gtgs in NH.

I drove by Goldenrod and there was a bunch of hot rods, customs, and musclecars all parked together. So we should have our first meet there.

Thursday's 5-8PM exit 3 off rte 101 the new Irving Gas station in candia
has the best turnout for cruise night...I usually take my pro ST truck but if a bunch of minis were to show up that would turn some heads..

 

Black S Type where are you in Northern NH?


I've stopped there to get gas sometimes when it's going on. I usually would get funny looks pulling up in a Mini.

 

I'd love to be kept in the loop... if you don't mind an interloper from (just) south of the border.

BTW, Monadnock Area Mini Association (MAMA) coordinated the Monadnock Berries get-together last summer, so do stay tuned....

Anyone doing MINIs on Top later this month? Sadly, I won't be able to make it this year, but it's a high priority for 2013.
