I cannot find the torque spec for the intake manifold nuts for my 2007 MCS in my manual.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!

Hi surfin, hope things went well with the job.
My Bentley Manual says:
Intake manifold to cylinder head (hexagon nut) 20 Nm (14.7 ft lb)
Intake manifold to cylinder head (8x20 bolt) 15 Nm (11 ft lb)

Thanks again Greg!
I am on the last cylinder (#2; the most gooey!!). Have just over an hour invested so-far. Hopefully on the last of the carb cleaner treatments now.
Will post before/after pics later...

BTW Greg...how-long have you had your BSC CC installed? Mine should arrive next week. Did you perform an intake valve cleaning prior to installing the CC?

I put it on at about 18k miles. No, I didn't clean the valves but I think I want to this summer. I have about 47k miles on "Sunny" now and I ordered front brakes, shocks, and have a FMIC to install, hopefully next weekend. So things to do...

Greg,
It will be very interesting to see how bad the carbon build-up will be given that you installed your OCC realitively early (at 18k miles).
If you can, take pics of your valves prior to cleaning. This way, we can see what the build-up could be after ~30k miles with an OCC. Planning for the future!
BTW, I have posted a pic of the 'after' cleaning at:

MINI once again rips!!
Thanks again for all your input!
