Just installed this kit yesterday! Super easy to install and sounds so great! One question. See red arrow...the intake pushes on this tube, moving it to the left. It is also now resting on the metal tube that gets hot. Is this OK? And...what is that tube for? Thanks!

I have this intake on my 07 MCS, I will have to go take a look to see if it resting on the tube you marked.

If it has been, no problem since mine has been on for about 3 years, no issues.

Remember to clean or change your filter often.

Thanks! I appreciate you looking for me! Yeah...I'll keep an eye on the filter. I've had some other vehicles with open K&Ns.
