This forum seems to be almost completely dead so I thought I would post a few garage shots of our Minis. I spent about 4 hours today washing and detailing. My wife drives the 2011 Countryman and I drive the 2009 Clubman S.

P.S. I would love to get together a meet and eat one weekend. Or maybe even a St. Patrick's Day night on the town the 17th. I see so many Minis in the area and I wish the drivers were more active in the Mini community.

I'm always up for a meet if my schedule works out. I live on the AL/TN Border but travel to bham all the time. Also the Nashville group is very active if you check their forum on here (but they list more on their FB page). I am going up there with another AL MINI guy for their mod party. Way from ATL is going to be helping us install mods anyone bought for their MINIs.

That may be a little far for you. Atlanta also does a lot, it may be closer from Bham I guess. Are you going to Minis on the Dragon this year? Its the most amazing Mini event I have ever been too and am hooked.

Unfortuneately I wrecked my MINI in Pratville last month. I just found out today, they found more damage and decided to total it instead of reparing.

But I am now looking for my next Mini and getting a little excited. I hope to be back on the road soon!

Kevin, sad to hear about your MINI. Also keep in mind I will probably not be able to make the MOTD this year for the whole week. So if anyone wants one of the poolside cabana's let them know I may be willing to let them stay in mine.
I think its about $170 a night. I have it for 4 night checking in on Wednesday.
I am keeping my eye on the new Roadster. Not decided to take the plunge yet.

 

I will keep that in mind if anyone I know is looking. Hate you can't make it the whole time this year. But you are coming for the weekend?

That roadster looks amazing! I'm keeping in in mind too but not ready for it just yet.

 

I'm very interested in some kind of meet. I will be checking out what's going on in ATL unless I can get something going on around here.

Just curious; does anyone use the "Mini Link" app? It's pretty cool when it actually works and I do see about 10 Minis around the Birmingham area on the map but no one seems to pay it any attention.

 

I'm an android man and its only available for the iPhone so not me. They've been saying they would develop for android for years now but still nothing!
