This show is part of Tartan Day South, a two day Celtic Celebration. The car show itself is on Saturday March 31st. Registration is at the gate and costs five dollars.

Registration for cars is free and passengers $5. Just come on down and listen to the bag pipes and watch some guys in skirts throw telephone poles. By bringing your MINI you get in free and the only cost would be a passenger. This event will be located in Cayce on US 321 North at the ole NASCAR Speedway which was in use from 1951 til 1971 and is now being up graded. The car show is sponsored by the British Car Club of Midlands and the MINI is the Marque for the show. There will be silent auction and vendors with food and beverages, bands lots of stuff for the kids. Should be a fun day for everyone.

I'm thinking about attending this event - I went looking for a time of the car show - and can't seem to find anything posted yet. My guess is a registration at 8 or 9 am?

I'll be driving in from Atlanta and wouldn't want to leave at 3 am if I wouldn't need to

Late registration and registration at the gate is $30 for the 1st car and $5 for each additional car.
Parking is restricted to assigned locations.

 

I will be there and John is bringing my other mini. Should be alot of fun.

 

Registration starts at 0830 and runs until noon when judging begins.

We are planning on coming down

 

Anyone who wants to caravan down we can meet at the rest area on I 77 south about 7:00 am. We should leave by 7:30 the latest to get there by 9:00.

 

That's early... but we will try to be there by 7:15.

That was a great time loved the cars and the Celtic bands, pipers and even the Irish ambassador who came up from Atlanta.
