Just had to shout that my CR/W MCS now has its new home! I think I'll call her "Lucky", being Friday the 13th and all. She had all of 8 miles when I picked her up. Now to break her in...

Welcome and congrats. Have fun breaking her in. Watch for cops - got my first ticket before 1000 miles.

A few quick thoughts after a few quick miles. I haven't noticed anyone else comment on these in other threads so maybe this will be useful:

1. In another thread I talked about my car coming equipped with the 3 spoke MFSW instead of the 2 spoke one which I thought I ordered:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ic=22857&5

Well it turns out that I like the 3 spoke MFSW! It has a smaller appearance than the 2 spoke (I haven't measured but it just looks that way). And when you turn on the headlights the MF buttons on the steering wheel light up! Does the 2 spoke version do this? Very cool. I'll try to get some picture if anyone is interested.

3. I often wondered why there were no window controls on the door but after driving for a while I think it was to always have your left hand on the wheel. Now it feels pretty natural.

4. I love the HK system! My wife and I are both violinists and for the type of music we listen to we feel that the sound is very clear and natural. Much better than the stock system. Seems plenty loud for the large dynamic range of classical music when driving a noisy road. Hope no rattles develop!

congrats on your new wheels, I have had mine since June 2002 and I am as happy today as the day I picked "Scooter" up. 23K and loving every minute of the motoring.
