If I were Sealy I would sue for invasion of publicity! I noticed it just now and came on here to see if it was Sealy's.... question answered.

License plates should be akin to naming your boat. You can pretty much name your boat anything you like.

I heard zaftig discussed at length on NPR this week - especially the connection with Monica Lewinsky (830,000 hits). Zaftig didn't do too badly, though, coming in at 9,900 hits. From the report, one can't be mentioned without inspiring images of the other...just saying...

So do your plates mean (to you) what every one has speculated on Jalopnik?

This is such fun - does Sealy's nom de l'automobile have broader significance?

Pah, da, rump - nice double there.
Whilst I am not petit, the name only refers to the Countryman. When I look at a row of MINIs with a CM parked in the middle, my initial thought is "Whee, doggies, that girl is zaftig." Especially from behind. Of course, that's a good thing.
