That is the power steering pump fan.
The computer turns it on "when needed", and if i rememer right about 15 secomds after the radiator fan turns on the HI speed...turn on the ac.
These fans do not run lots.
The box was a change in mid 2005...possibly a thermal fuse.
May car had the orgional no box fan....was changed to the nwer one, no issues.
Spal is the OEM. So the fan should be the right one.

Yesterday I made a test.
Motor worked for 30 minutes and cooling fan is turned on 5-6 times, but power steering pump fan not.
Outside it was 30 degrees.
One more question.
About 20 days I had a problem with the oil pressure lamp .when i was driving uphill its starts to blink and downhill stops.I bought new oil pressure indicator and The problem was solved.
15 days after that i was stock in trafic jam and its turns on again .when i start to drive its turn off.outside was 37 degrees.
could it be related with power steering pump fan problem???
i chack oil level,i chack all cabels and everithing is ok.
I didn't check oil pressure but i think if oil pressure was problem engine would change sound and sound was normal.
After that day one day was hot and its turn on again but i was on bimpy road.the lamp was blinking how i kick bump. :((

The 2 things are probably not connected,
Oil Press light is most likley a loose connection, usually at the sending unit but no telling for sure, just get someone else to watch it while you trace and jiggle the wiring.
P/S fan, first make sure it works, pull it out and test it with a hot & a ground then if it works check to see if your low speed fan (rad.) is working if I'm not mistaken the P/S fan power works off that system, if it's not there are a few good threads on the subject.
