Anyone recognize this badge?

Hey guys, I recently purchased a 2005 MCS, and there is a strange motoring badge on the back. Can anyone tell me what it is, or if it means anything? Thanks.

Checkered Flag MINI in Virginia Beach, Virginia puts those domed decals on the cars they sell - I bet that's where it was originally sold.

that's 100% correct. One of the least intrusive dealer badges I've ever seen. I had my 02-S for 6 months before I figured out it WAS the dealer's badge.

But a little heat from a strong hair dryer, or a heat gun on low can make it go bye bye. I moved mine to the door jam. I have this thing about not providing dealers an advertising platform unless they are willing to pay for the 'shelf space.' Lic' plate frames don't hang around longer than 5 minutes after I get the car home and I've pealed stickers off while still going thru delivery and handed them to the sales person.

That dealer badge looks like a keeper though.
