R50/53 2 left hand wipers ??
I had the wiper arms off and didn't do a good job of separating them. When I went to put them back on, I noticed they were very similar in length and shape. So I flipped one over and saw LH. Cool I thought, then as I was pondering if that was from inside the car, or when standing in front of it,( that's why they call it dope kids !!)
>>mine say LH, and RH. And the drivers side seems shorter, they possibly screwed up at the factory?!

Thanks, that's what I am suspecting. So that's 1 missing bolt and the wrong wiper arm so far. I tell the dealer before my next visit, so he can wait until my visit to order it, so I can come back a week later to pick it up !!

The blade with the aero wind deflector is for in front of the driver, unless you have two, then that would be way cool.

There are in fact two different sizes for the wipers. The driver side is an inch shorter than the pass side. I think it's 18in and 19in. A little odd....

Don't be worried. There have been numerous incidents of MINI putting the wrong part on our MINIs. I recall some MCS models that have arrived sporting MINI Cooper or even MINI One sill plates. Two LH wiper arms seems pretty innocuous in the scheme of possibilities. Think of it as a "beautymark".
I haven't looked at my wipers, so this is conjecture.
I think the LH means left hand drive. Wipers usually go the opposite direction on right hand drive cars. In other words, in a right hand drive car the right hand wiper (looking out from inside the car) will come up to be parallel to the right A pillar, whereas the right hand wiper on a left hand drive car will wipe away from the right A pillar in a wide arc.
They do this so the driver's side will always have the max. wiper coverage, whether it be the left or the right.

BTW, regarding wipers, I just got back from 2-1/2 months away and two days later, it began to rain and I turned on the wipers and they were totally shredded. Granted, I'm in Hawaii and the car sits out, but I have never had a wiper blade shred into long strips. In 42 years of car ownership, I have never had the rubber do anything but get hard and lose its flexibility. This makes them work badly, but work.
The result was that I was suddenly, without warning, in an extremely dangerous position on a two-lane road, with pineapple fields on both sides, no safe shoulder, and nowhere to turn and 1/8" strips of rubber flying all over the windshield.
Truly heart-stopping.
