R50/53 Anyone with pics of a MCS without foglights ?
Hi people,
I've had a MCS on order for a while now and because my budget is getting tight I have opted out for foglights (at an extra of £90). I was wondering if anybody had pics of a MCS front bumper without foglights, as I have just thought I don't think I have seen a picture of this.
Thanks in advance

You are paying over $20,000.00 for a car and because of budget reasons you cancel the fog lights. A low cost option. I just don't get it. IMO keep the fogs and get rear fogs too. If not for anything else but to have a full toggle switch panel.

Bumper is exactly the same on a MCS with no fog lights. You still get the cavities where the light fictures would go, but instead you get "blanks" or black plastic covers. Remember that the front and rear fog lights can always be retrofitted by your dealer after the fact.

I believe the original poster lives in the UK where the purchase of a new MCS is substantially more expensive than in the US. Also keep in mind that MINIs sold in the UK and Europe come with lower levels of standard equipment than their US market bound counterparts. For example, in the UK a buyer can order a new MCS without A/C, side airbags, tape radio (WAVE) player instead of CD player (BOOST), so on and so forth.
While for us Americans paying another $100-$150 for front fog lights may not be a very big deal, for our UK friend it maybe the difference between been able to afford that new MCS at all or not been able to pay its higher insurance and gas (US$4.00+ a gallon). In the UK a new MCS is almost like purchasing a new BMW 330 in the US.
We Yanks have the good life here and we still take it for granted!
