How fast have you gone with your Mini Cooper S?

I was also wondering what do they say is the highest speed by a stock Cooper S

 

i know a cooper S owner that did 135 downhill in a stock S.

 

I had my 03 stock MCS up to 135 mph indicated.
This was in another state, at over 6000 ft of elevation,
on a level, empty road with plenty of visibility.
That was not the top speed, but I had to slow down
as I was running out of straight road.
It was as steady as a rock.
Other than that, I have repeatedly reached 110 mph
on the track straightaway.

 

One time I hit 122, no traffic, wont do it again, but got their pretty quickly and had lots more RPM's could have gone much faster, and very steady. next time, track, track, track....

 

Dear, I don't drive this car any faster than the last one.
Dear, I can't go any faster than the guy in front of me.
Dear, I haven't gotten any tickets, so don't worry.
Dear, this car just SEEMS to go faster, cause it's small.
Dear, you have to occasionally punch it to blow out the carbon.
Dear, I'm only a few miles over the limit.
Dear, I'm just staying up with the rest of the traffic.



(I've had my MCS up to 125, and it wanted to go faster.)
