Blow off Valve

I just purchased my first Mini cooper type S today after driving my moms for 3 years. At the dealership I took a ride in one of the salesmen's mini and he had a blow off valve in it. I am looking to purchase one for my car so when its hear I can install it right away. any suggestions on specific brands or anything when looking for a blow off valve? I am new to this so I am hoping all of you could help me out with this.

yeah i understand. I do like the sound of it but I do want some performance (all I can get out of a BOV). But I am just looking for brand names so I can do research, my mini MA was preaching Alta and looked into it but did not have a BOV on their website.. weird? but thanks for the info much appreciated !!

helix13.com sells one too. The stock BOV is pretty loud with just a CAI.

Cold Air Intake. There are a bunch of them... you can probably look through the vendor section or google "MINI R56 Intake."

A few are made by:
ALTA, Defenders of Speed, NM Engineering, K&N, m7, VIP, etc.
