Greetings!

After silently lusting for a Cooper for years, I finally took delivery of an '08 S Hatch last night. Still learning the car!

I had the equipment list pulled for my VIN and I have a few questions for those who might be in the know.

1. It says Option 693 Satelite Radio Prep - Does that mean all I have to do is have my Sirius subscription added to the Cooper and it's ready to go? I didn't see Sat in the audio options while poking around the head unit. I drove to work today listening to commercials for the first time in years and I don't like it!

2. In my truck, I can stream Pandora via BlueTooth. On the Coop, it seems that Bluetooth is only accessible for the phone and no audio options. Is this correct? I have the Aux audio inputs, so the cables are an option, but the bluetooth is just seamless as it connects as soon as you get in the car.

I believe only the MINI Connected option allows you to stream audio/stereo (A2DP) over Bluetooth. I know in my 2011 without MINIConnect the car only has the addressbook and phone profiles for bluetooth, not the stereo, A2DP profile.

I assume the 08's are the same.
