Just noticed the price for premium at one of the Shell stations I patronize was $3.73 - up $0.40 from the last time I filled up almost 2 weeks ago.

Friends & family assume I get 30+mpg w/the MINI, but they don't know how I drive most of the time. I could challenge myself to be more conservative & nurse each gallon for all it's worth, but I'm not sure I can restrain myself.

 

I just filled up yesterday at my shell station and gas was $3.94 a gallon

 

Paid $4.07 a few days ago

 

3.47, and I still see empty cars idling all over the place. Maybe they'll stop when it hits 5/gallon.

 

I've stopped looking at the price of gas and putting in $20 or $30, a fillup just isn't worth the

 

93 was 3.40 on base were im at. my current car got some 3.14 a gallon 87. seems like its possible we will be up to 4+ by the time my car gets here.

I'm feelin' Longboard's pain, above: $4.05 for Chevron Supreme 91 yesterday (4 March 2011). There's a Chevron refinery not 10 miles away and we have some of the most pricey gas in the lower 48..?!?!

 

Glad I bought my MINI last week. And I did not buy it for its good gas mileage but it sure helps. The rising cost of gas sucks and won't be coming down anytime soon.

Sunoco 93 3.87 this morning...that hurts when my r50 cvt is having some problem and only doing 14-17mpg...Has been impossible to get over 180miles/tank for 2 months...It is painful....

 

$3.65 to $3.79 per gal. for Shell premium and going up 15 to 20 cents a gal. a week in NC.
Just got my MCS late Tuesday. Dealer filled the tank. Gas gage did not go down until I hit 93 miles on odo. I am in breakin period so just noodling along, but all city miles. Puter says 27.6 average mpg.

 

3.99 for Arco 91. I get around 28mpg city, 37mpg highway.

 

Last time i filled up the going rate was an arm, Yesterday when I filled up it was raised to an arm and a leg.

 

3.55 for EXxon 93 Supreme seems it is going up 10 cents a gallon every 4 or 5 days now, my guess is 4.70 a Gallon by July 4th and I bet EXxon has record profits as will all the others

 

4.09 here a couple days ago. Hey ain't I lucky the most so far Plus as you can see in my mod list.....gas mileage ain't my thing

Filled up at Costco yesterday and Premium was $3.93 the highest Ive seen so far was $4.25. Paying $50 to fill up is BS

I just filled up for 3.69 for 93 octane. Up from about 3.41 about a week and a half ago. However, gas seems to be fluctuating a lot recently. I saw it go up to 3.57, then immediately down to 3.49 and up to it's record high here of 3.69 at one gas station.

I think once all the current issues with the Middle East will stabilize, we will go back to 3.11 or so, maybe and hopefully back to 2.80's 2.50's... I wonder if that time will still come...

 

Bought 12 gallons of premium today for 3.49 per gallon. Drove almost 300 miles still plenty left.

 

Oh joy We just filled my wife's Mini...$4.13 Shell 91, we have Costco's here but will not put it into our Minis

 

Thankfully the MINI I just picked up came with a full tank of gas! I might be shocked the next time I fill up! They told me they put mid grade not premium any one running mid grade or regular?

 

Typically, petrol is the same all around. It's refined the same way. The only difference is octane wise. I've read numerous posts about that. However, I would too be worried putting petrol from Sam's or Costco. I do use Speedway, Thorntons, Delta Sonic etc. Whichever's cheaper, but never Costco! In the past 6 years I never ran into any troubles due to that, nor did my dad with about 40 years of driving experience.

 

Here in our country's capital, we pay $4.63/gallon for 91 RON (ethanol blended), $4.70/gallon for 95 RON (ethanol blended), $5.10/gallon for 100 RON (non-ethanol)
