Costco has their own "Techron" that they blend with their gas. The sign on the pump says it is five times the government required amount of detergent.

$3.45 regular. Had to fill up our Nissan Titan today(it's our last car, until the 2 new MINIs get here) to the tune of $73!

Made the mistake of not getting gas on way out for lunch but instead on the way back. Cost me another .20 / gal because of 30 minute delay.

Columbus Ohio. $3.599 regular and $3.799 Premium.

$52 to fill my justa

Filled up mostly today with premium. Didn't tell the wife I was using premium, as she wants regular cause it's saving money. I had 10 cents off too so it was only $3.69 (never thought I'd say only $3.69). But I could tell the performance difference by the time I made it down the road. It drives so much better with premium gas, she won't listen to my pleas though.

What part of the city was that in? Out in W Goochland we are now at $3.47 for regular and $3.75 for Premium. So now I end up only driving SJ once or twice a week and take the elderly Prius the rest of the time.

Sorry, It was $3.69. Wishful thinking i guess. But still a $.60 difference between the Shell on Broad and the Shell by VCC.

Last I checked, it was still 3.40$ a gallon for regular at the Conoco down the street from me here in WA. That means, when I go to put premium in the tank, it will be around 3.60$

Kinda hoping prices stay there, the summer I bought my car, gas prices inflated bad and premium got up to almost 5$ a gallon.

Today, I went to refuel my 08 MC. I went to a station that I always go to and is 5 cents off of Super on Fridays and Saturdays. I pull up and the pumps read $3.35 regular, 3.45 plus, 2.55 Premium. So today on March 13th 2011, I filled up my Mini at $2.55 a gallon of Premium. I am so giddy, I can't contain myself!

I don't look at the per gallon price when it is like this. I just get that red haze over my eyes when my "angry meter" starts to spike.

I have to drive 100 miles per day for work......

It was $38 to fill up a CRX today and I was not near E........
(I do look at the final price of course, but I just don't have a
choice, as pretty much nobody does)

I did do experiments back in the day, 87, 88 or so.
I got about 3 more mpg using premium than regular.

But that was back in the day. I'm certainly not using premium
in a 25 year old honda at this point.

93 that was Ethanol Free

$ 3.89 for a gallon of 93 THAT DID NOT HAVE ETHANOL IN IT! It's too bad it's no where near my house. But it is near 226 and 226-A in the twisties of NC.

First post. btw

That's cheap! I had to pay €1.82/liter yesterday.

1.82 x 3.74 = € 6.81 per gallon
That's $ 9.53 per gallon

The dollar has devaluated a lot in a few days, a mere week ago that would have been about $10.50

I'm traveling to Miami in a week, couldn't rent a Mini :(
Have opted for the gas-guzzling Dodge Charger as the US gas prices are a joke :D

I certainly feel your pain my fellow MINI owner!!!!! I'm trying to keep the blinders on when I have to buy gas, but it doesn't always work and then I too start getting the angry meter klaxon sounding! I'm only driving 86 miles or so to work so at least that's a small consolation! Of course, it cost me $20 just to put in 1/2 tank in the Prius this morning! I'm seriously starting to believe the conspiricy theories out there!!!!!!
