How to replace speedo and rpm lens

So I bought my 02 MCS and it has some scratches on the interior that really bug me. The lens on the speedo and rpm are scratched and not clear. How do i remove these in order to either 1. replace 2. try and sand them down.

Also, the "rings" on my cup holder need to be replaced as well. Do they just pop off?

PO had some silly stick carbon fiber on the dash. It looks TERRIBLE. it is on all the silver trim and above the glove box airbag. Can/how do i remove all of these?

Thanks for your help.

MINI doesn't sell replacement lenses separately (only the complete instrument gauges). There are various plastic polish and scratch removal products that may help.

I created a replacement lens upgrade I called InvisiLens, and I hope you give it consideration. It is anti-reflective and a big improvement over the factory lens. InvisiLens is sold by NAM vendor FES Auto: http://www.fes-auto.com/productsinvisilens.php

Cool, I have been wondering why Mini made the Nav antiglare (in fact it appears to use the light from the sun to light up the display), but not those two gauges.... I thought about putting anti-reflective film on those lenses, but looks like you have a nice replacement.... thanks!

I looked into that when searching for a solution, but I found that stick-on films used for phone and computer displays don't work well in this situation.

Stick-on films work by having a finely texture surface that scatters light and helps to prevent mirror-like reflections. They reduce glare to some extent, but the problem is that the textured surface not only scatters reflected light, but also light going through the film. It makes the film appear cloudy when you look through it. The cloudiness is less obvious when the film is directly on the surface of an LCD/LED screen, but if you hold the film a half inch away from the surface (like gauge lenses are spaced away from the dial), you'll see that it makes everything fuzzy.

InvisiLens uses a type of anti-reflective coating similar to those used in eyeglasses and camera lenses, like this:

I wanted to do the same for the speedo and tach lenses, and InvisiLens is my result.

Very observant, I didn't notice that!

I guess a proper comparison should show both types of lenses in the same photo for identical conditions. Here's one for InvisiLens:

Invisilens

Hi, I believe you are Matt's supplier for the Invisilens. I ordered a set for my 2011 MCS over a month ago and it's still not delivered. After 2 weeks, I called and was lucky enough to get him on the phone. He told me that he's currently out of stock and waiting for the manufacturer To deliver supplies. After that, no phone calls nor emails and to date no delivery of course. I heard and read that this is a great product and he is a legit guy; but so far that has not helped me get my hands on it. Can you help?
