H K radio problems

Ive searched but havent come up with my exact problem yet. So lately my Hk radio has been acting up, some days the display acts up, either very bright, kinda lit "blocky" if you know what I mean, and now tonight the display went black and I couldnt adjust volume or change mode/song or anything, and when I shut my car off, it stayed playing. Is this an amp problem or actual headunit issue? Thanks for anyhelp!

Sounds like a failing HU. I would check EBay as you can get them for fairly cheap.

Sounds good. Hopefully I can get a facelift headunit so then I can play mp3 cd's.

HK and non-HK use the same headunits.

awesome! thanks! Also the problem is weird, now today i went out and swapped fuses between the two radio spots on the fuse block and now the radio works fine. Would the signs still point to the headunit?

I would test that for a few more days. Generally you won't get issues like you are describing just because of a fuse.
