I was looking for some advice on how to enable code mode on my H/K head unit. I had some battery problems and since then the head has read "-DISABLE-". I apologize in advance if this has been discussed. I couldn't find a thread dealing with it.

Every radio is different...it is an anti-theft feature...
I believe you will need to go to the dealer to get the number...
They will look up the Vin# of the car or the radio serial number, and get you the code for your radio.....

 

You should not need the code, if the radio is properly connected to the car and iBus.

 

I'm not very experienced in car audio, but as the car is out of warranty I'd like to try it myself. Can you direct me to a post that talks about verifying these connections?
