Sport Tips on JCW Exhaust?
I bought a set of Sport Tips in the marketplace for Artoo who is newly fitted with a JCW exhaust. I figured since these were an option on the GP which came with the JCW exhaust I thought they would fit.
But spending a bit of time today trying to get them on leaves me a little frustrated. Has anyone done this? Is there a set of instructions for the Sport Tips?
Somehow I thought this was going to be simple.

Anyone want a set of nice Sport Tips for an R53?

JCW tips are straight and the Sport tips have a bit of a "bulge" at the back to accomodate the OEM R53 exhaust design. I don't see how they could have been an option for the GP when there were designed to fit a different exhaust.

It happens. But in this case it was someone who should have known.
I pondered the situation this afternoon. It may be that if I flare the JCW pipe a bit, it will fit nicely enough so that I can wedge it and lock it with the set screw, or I may simply tack weld them on.
I really don't want to spend the cash for the JCW tips and these will look good if I can fit it.

I have a set of JCW tips that I bought from someone on NAM who said they would fit on a stock r53. They don't. Do you want to trade?
The ones I have are in very good condition. I could send pics if you like. Or we coulds trade exhausts...
