2011 MPG numbers on MINIUSA

There was some discussion on the 2011 Ordering thread, but I thought I would highlight the new numbers here.
There is a nice bump in MPG for 2011. About 0 to 2mpg for highway, but the real story is in the city numbers...anywhere from 3 to 6 mpg improvement depending on the model!
The combined numbers look bogus, so I am assuming that the hwy/city numbers are accurate. If so, this is huge!
For example, Cooper S (all trims) 36 hiway for manual 34 hwy for autos. Thats up 2mpg over 2010! City is 30 for manual, 29 for auto. An increase of 4 for manual and 5 for auto. Excellent! (I just hope these numbers are not in error...the site is pretty buggy right now).

I'm guessing they messed up, which is a big mess up. I can understand the options and stuff messing up right now because many of them are new. But MPG is gov't regulated numbers.
Either way, still an increase. If it's not a mistake and the ClubbyS really did move to 37/30 H/C, I'm going to be jumping up and down

The numbers for the last couple years on the window sticker have been lower than real life.
In my JCW I average ~32 mpg just about every tank with rush hour hwy traveling counting most of my driving time.
My last tank I drove easier and got 35 mpg - calculated - not the OBC.

I doubt tires designed for high gas mileage are meant to hug the corners. I'll deal with less gas mileage. I'd deal with non runflats too.
