Help with Sirius radio install.

I just purchased a 2010 chili red MCSCa and want a sirius radio. I had it in previous car and have a lifetime subscription. Since I am tapped out from purchase I can't afford the $1000 price to install at the dealer even though it would be the best. Do any of you have ideas to best place a sirius unit that looks good for my purist husband. I saw a post where it was placed next to the speedometer but I have the shifting paddles and do not think I have the room there. Any pictures and advice are appreciated.
Thank you

There are a few options. Something like the flexpod can be adapted for a sat radio unit, also have seen them under the center stalk in that little pocket behind the cup holders.
