Oil Leak?

So I was rotating the tires on my 2008 R56 (cedric) when I was snooping under him just to look at stuff (i'm very curious) and to make sure everything was normal when I noticed the transmission? or differential? can't tell covered in oil. Its still under warranty so I suppose the first thing I should do is take him in to the dealer, pix below but has anyone seen this before or experienced it before?

Axle seals would be my guess

Should be no question on warranty coverage

I'd love to be able to tell you but unfortunately I have no clue how intensive it is.

Dealer replaced our axle seal under warranty as well at around 30k miles.

A DIY isn't hard. You will have to remove the axle however which means disconnecting the control arm from the knuckle and removing the axle nut. The drivers side axle is just held in with a circlip so just put a prybar between the axle and trans and give it a good pop and it should come right out. The passenger side isn't held into the trans at all but it's bolted to the engine so unbolt the axle support bearing thing and the axle will slide out of the transmission. Then just R&R the axle seals. Should just take a seal puller but I've not done it before.

Couldn't find the part # on RealOEM so idk about that.
