Very nice vid; looks like the weather was perfect 4 motoring!

 

Great video. The weather was perfect, cool mornings, sunshine, warm afternoons and only a little sprinkle after the farewell dinner. It was like Fontana Village was sad to see all the MINI's packing up to leave. Great event again this year. Hats off to Snooter, all the volunteers, and Mother Nature for a great week.

 

Out of curiosity about what speed were you running, it seemed to pickup after the MINI in frnt pulled off?

 

HAH! That was me in the blue MINI that you were following for most of the video. There was another MINI out in front of me that I was trying not to get too close to. When they pulled off, I pulled off a few turns up. I was probably going 35-45. I passed a TN trooper going 65 on the way up (luckily no ticket) so I was trying to take it easy on the ride back out.

I'd love to get a higher res copy of that video to add to my collection though. Shoot me a PM if you are willing!

 

I dont really know wasn't looking at spedo much, would have been a fat ticket though. I was enjoying the drive too much..
