Will I hit 200WHP after tune?
Getting my car tuned by Jan on the 25th @ Mach V.
My mods:
Borla catback
Alta intake
17% pulley w/plugs/belt/tensioner stop etc
Will those three mods help me hit 200whp after a tune?
If not, what else do i need? Header? Injectors? Im on a real low budget so dont say Cam lol.
Also, With injectors, I know i can run the 380cc without a tune and anything more requires a tune. Whats the advantage of getting 550cc injectors and disadvantages? Is fuel economy worse with the 550cc injectors?

I think you might barely make it. My car has Invidia catback, Alta intake, 15% pulley, header, and GIAC tune and it made 200.75whp. Although you lack the header, I think Jan's custom tune will make up for it.
I really want the DFIC, i heard a video of Webb's MINI, and his car sounds SO sick. Except the dfic costs 900$ and I dont even know if you get power from it.
550s are mainly used so if you want to upgrade in the future you dont have to buy bigger injectors, they are scaled down when the car gets tuned. I would get some injectors and a cam would help to get you to your goal. I personally don't see any benefit in getting an aftermarket intercooler, I just haven't seen people put down more horsepower on the dyno with aftermarket intercoolers
You'll probably make it, though it would depend if your car is a strong one from the factory, or a weaker one. Each MINI varies slightly, from what Jan told me.
Jan tuned me up to 201.5 whp, and I have only a 15% pulley, intake and cat-back. I'd think with the 17%, you'd potentially get even more whp than I did...

Only other thing I have planned power-wise is a cam and headers. Should i get 440s?
BTW, Jan told me that my car would have made more power, but I was limited by my stock injectors at the top of the rev range. So upgrading to 380's or higher wouldn't be a bad idea, before tuning.
If you will, mine should too... I have JCW Injectors, one ball, jcw intake, and a bypass valve. At least i hope so. I'm getting mine tuned by Jan the 26th at Mach V, I can't wait! Good luck reaching your numbers objective!
It's quite possible. As has been said some cars are stronger out of the box than others. Apparently I got a really good one! I have an Alta intake, a 15% pulley and a Volt exhaust. Also 116K miles.
I got a Mynes tune Saturday. My base run was 202 WHP! Mike and Jason couldn't believe it so they pulled it again. Sure enough, 202. After their tweaks I drove out with 210 WHP and 182 lbs/ft of torque.
My wife's car is nearly identical to mine and she got a Crower NS cam and 550 injectors installed prior to the tune. She ended up with nearly 216 WHP and 188.5 lbs/ft of torque at 4400 RPM. The cam really flattened out the torque curve and torque is what you feel. I'd rather have more torque at lower RPM than a high HP number.
