universal swaybar bracket to fit 22mm sway bar?

can i buy any 7/8 swaybar bracket for my 22mm rear swaybar because i bought the mini madness swaybar used and the guy didnt give me the brackets because he told me the stock ones would fit it, but obviously a 16mm bushing bracket would not fit my new 22mm bushing bracket so im upset and wondering if i can just purchase a 7/8 bracket from ebay, they look universal with the long slots for any placement for the screw

any help would be appreciated!
thank you for your time
Reggie

be careful with the universal brackets as they can be too big and hit the MINI frame. I tried the Energy Suspension universal greasable bushings, and they are too tall and 2 mm too wide in the span. I think I should have gone with the non-greasable bushings as they seam that much shorter and have a closer span.

Well I should have looked for the non-greasable bushings as they should have worked. What I did was take the kit I bought and cut them down to almost the right size and then took the factory metal mount and heated that up to finish a custom bushing. They look fugly, but will do for now until I find a place that sells the non-greasable to make sure they fit. The greasables I found at Advanced Auto Parts.

Amazon carries the smaller version that should fit our MINIs.

Autozone, Checker and Advanced only sell the larger version, the 9.5108, it is too tall and the span is the same as the greasable., you want the one above.

Or the Prothane bushings at Amazon, they look a little short still.
