Need some poke advice

HALP

05 Justacooper

15x8 et 25

Will it fit?

Will it be a direct bolt on or will I need to modify stuff?

Will it poke?

Will it be daily drivable (as in: can I make turns without rubbing and put 2000 miles on them every month?)

What size Tire for a nice stretch? (but not a ridiculous one where the lip is like an inch out from the tire)

Would 16x8 be better?

Any other recommendations on an offset that may work better? Im also looking at some 16inch et 20s

8" wide et 25 will most certainly poke, but whether or not it'll be drivable will depend on your ride height I think. This should help with your decision:

I know he's on vmaxx coilovers and is slammed.

Yes, what suspension are you running? This will help us decide the tire size You need.

Johnny you should probably visit motoringunderground.com and talk to those guys about the "stretched" and "poke" look. That entire forum is essentially a bunch of guys that like their car super low with small wide wheels. I know it is almost impossible to have a super low stance, smooth ride, and be reliable for a long time.

Like others have said, Rally@Stance design is probably your best source for more information on achieving the look you desire. Maybe a few guys from the QoC can give you some poke advice, but it might not be what you had in mind.

15x8et25 is going to poke about 20mm past the arch YMMV

some 15" barrels don't clear the rear trailing arm bolt, watch for that.

the answers to your other questions depend on what you're willing to do and how low you want to go.

There's give and take with any type of suspension modification. It all just depends on what look you're going for and your budget.
