HPR Open Track Days

Not sure if anyone has checked HPR's website lately, but it seems they now offer open track days for both cars and bikes. $150 for the day or $90 for a half day gets you in. Basic safety rules apply (ie. helmet, previous track experience)

You can check out the schedule here: HPR Events

While not as cheap as Second Creek used to be, this is a great resource for those who just want to get out and take some hot laps.

lapping day at HPR

Brian,

Thanks for bringing this topic up again.

A few of the MINI folks have been wanting to go back out and do some lapping on one of the open days.

I was thinking Sept. 18, if it remains open to all or Oct. 9, both are Friday lapping days that could be possible for a few MINI lapping nuts.

I would suggest folks do the $90.00 half day in the afternoon, meet up at 11 or 11:30 for lunch at the track, some BS (stories), then enjoy an afternoon of lapping.

Folks, any interest? What day/days work?

Don

Not sure about others, but with work weekdays are out, it would have to be Sat or Sunday.

A Friday day would be best to get the 1/2 cost. Not sure what might be coming up with other clubs, but it does cost to rent the track on Saturday and/or Sunday.

I'm thinking a club has to pay the full price for a weekend day, hard to cover with only 5 to 10 MINIs.

Keep working on your boss, MINIs can run with a Vette.
