random question, has anyone else noticed the crusie control icon is dimmer....

random question, has anyone else noticed the crusie control icon in the speedo is dimmer than the front fog light icon? i use the crusie control alot and my cars over a year old now and last night i just kinda noticed it was dimmer than the fog lights. just wondering if anyone else could confirm this for me or let me know if they are of equal brightness or one is actually dimmer than the other. i'll try and get a pic.
thanks - peter314

I have noticed it as well, I use Cruise Control all the time too. Molly has about 18,800 miles on her and is 1yr. 4mo.

From my 63y/o eyes, the cruise indicator is, indeed, less bright than the fog light.

I think it is due to two things, the location of the icon and where the light is in the back of the cluster.

Mine has navigation and I can tell just from the angle of the cruise light location that it won't shine as bright as where the fog light icon is located.

heh, well that solves that. thanks everyone, i was going to snap a photo earlier today while i was doing the bluetooth side switch (which was a resounding success) and in the daylight they seem to be the same in brightness but at night its dimmer. maybe a photo tonight but as far as us 5 have chimed in, it is confirmed that it is dimmer. i was only concerned because i hadent known if it was suppose to be as bright, and if the bulb was going out already, and it would be quite an annoyance to have out and to have fixed would i belive be quite a job.
thanks all - peter314

My car's a year old and never used it; can't cruise too far on the island . I guess I should just make sure it works...

I think it's looks dimmer 'cause of the green colour. It's the only one that's green...all the rest (that I can remeber) are yellow or red. Is it an issue? Not to me.

both the cruise control and front fogs icon are green, check out the picture above, just one is dimmer than the other. as i noted before, it dims for some reason, cause during the day i've noticed that it was the same brightness as the fogs but then dims after the headlights have been on for a few min. all i wanted to do was get a general consensious from some people to see if it was just me or they are all like that. its not really an issue, its just something i noticed and wanted to make sure wasnt an issue / going to be.
