They made those add on kits for the VW Beetle too. I don't know if you can still buy them or not. I would like it if it did not destroy a nice Mini Classic.

I think that was actually a Rolls Royce designed mini from back in the day....
Apparently it's a custom thing from a shop in California... Looks like a butchered clubman to me. To each his own, I guess... All I know is that if I saw that thing at a ca show next to my mini, I would be ashamed.
To ruin a classic to do it, yes, it's atrocious. But considering some of the other crazy chop jobs that are out there, at least it doesn't burn the retinas with its hideousness. Poor car.
Maybe I'll get shouted down here, but I find it to be pretty cool. While it sounds like such things have been done before, I enjoy the creativity, making something different. I come from the biker world where some are traditionalists and think that old bikes should be restored and new bikes should remain new bikes while others chop, weld, add, subtract, and transform the oldest or the newest bike without blinking in order to make something different and make it their own.
I think this is a great 'youification' personally (though I hate that term). I'd give it a big thumbs-up if I saw it on the road.
