Flood lights...

Maybe I'm just stupid, but does anyone have a good way to get the flood light caps off the lights without cracking the caps or snapping them in two? I'm on my second pair.

If you call the accessory 'flood' lights 'fog lights', yes. They are so bright, they're useless for use in fog. But please, if you have a method for removing them easily, I'd like to know.

My covers have a little plastic tab on the bottom. I just pull that tab toward me and they pop right off.

Mine have the tab too but I struggle n struggle, pull, push, twist, pop, using all the strength I can get on them and nothing. I darn near give up every time I need them off and I'm afraid I'm using so much strength that I'll snap them in two again. There must be some secret to popping them off I'm not doing right.

The only time i have ever had any trouble is when I put the cover on wrong. Make sure the edge of the cover falls at the gap between the front and rear part of the light all the way around. I find that it is easy to put them on a little angled and that caused mine to get a little stuck once.
