I put some High Output LEDS in the BMW and the General Control Module flipped out. Now my automatic lights (i.e. footwell and back seat lighting) dont work and blew the fuse and possibly ruined my halos...

Where did you put them?

All of my interior lights are LED's and I haven't had a problem. Only my map lights and dome light are high output though.

Here are all of my LED's: interior and exterior with no issues...
2 - 9.5" oznium flexible led strips (footwells)
1 - 19" oznium flexible led strip (rear parcel shelf)
1 - 4.7" oznium flexible led strip (under toggle panel)
2 - 42 draft designs High Intensity 194 Wedge Style LED(map lights)
1 - 42 draft designs High Intensity High Intensity 39mm Fuse Style LED (dome light)
2 - 42 draft designs 14.5v White 39mm Fuse Style LED (license plate)

And all are wired into the factory lights.

Maaaaan....I dont know. Its not like you can screw LED's up...lol. If they dont work...reverse them. But Im 1 of 4 BMW's that dont like the low voltage output. My vanities and the map lights work. Just not the center light (which is on the same bus bar as the maps)...the footwells and the rear seats. My remote on/off for my halos are piggied from my footwell lighting. Thats where my halos went out. At one point I could S.O.S. my halos by my remote... I dont know. Im gonna go to Xenon interior lights and LED exterior. Already bought smoked front turn signals, side markers and tails...

Hope it all works out for you.

Also, what LED's do you recommend for the tails in my MINI?

Youve seen pics of my tails lit up right? Search for LED tails and you will find it. I bought the 32 LED tower bulbs from autolumination. All 6 of mine ran 125 bucks....Kinda steep but they change the look drastically...
