Any interest in a Lighting MOD clinic?

I did this last year and had quite a few people turn out. This year, I'll have my new car with (hopefully) the underbody LED lit installed, as well as the cabin lighting replaced. I learned some things from my last car, and the wiring and switch panel should be a bit more elegant than last year.

Anyone interested in coming out for a quickie hour-long clinic like last year? If so, what would you like to discuss that isn't already covered by the stuff I'll have installed?

Let me know!

Here are some pics of Nano (RIP) at the height of her "Bluemination" if you wonder what kind of stuff we'd be discussing:

Totally.

Will you do it at Minis in the Alps 2008, also?

Alps? Like, Switzerland? I will if someone will ship my car for me and sponsor my plane ticket and room & board.

I was not able to make it to the clinic last time so YES, I would love to see this in person, even if it is not on HO Nano.

Ah, nobody can add value to a thread like my friend abuzavi...

Well, maybe I can. But nobody else.

I'd probably be in for Glowin' on the Dragon II...

What?

I would soooo be down with a lighting mod clinic -- it's probably the one little thing I'd still like to add to the girl.

However..... there's that whole Atlantic thing to contend with. A good write up, some photos, and maybe I am get inspired and brave.

I did at least schedule a pulley party / garage day for JAN. Maybe I'll tinker some then.

Hehehe... I don't think we'd have time to do an install clinic on-site, but maybe. If you need help with the installation though let me know and maybe we can work something out...

I had a friend in Highschool that had the smoke effect figured out for his car.

I'll volunteer my car for pictures , We can do the install and take pictures will it's done ... I've got like 200 leds ,plus a couple undercar kits , cold cathodes and strobes , so there should be plenty of variety

You know....I have been toying with the idea of doing some changes in Cecilia, and am 1)wanting to pick your brain so I can do it...and 2) since I ONLY get to see you at MOTD, would of course be wondering if I could get all the crap and see *impish and innocent smile* if you could possibly help me change some stuff! I would of course have EVERYTHING you would need to help me and I will be there for the entire week and everything. I don't want to go as extreme as Nano was, but of course I LOVED it, but I would like to do some changes...

you could .....
prepare a parts list and where to get the parts and a ball park on cost then give tips and tricks on how to do it so those of us who want to do it but are unsure of the who ,what , where can get it sorted out..

This may not be what you mean by Lighting Clinic but I could use some help installing some Altezza Clear Tail lights on my 07 Cabrio.
The catch is that they are not made for MINI's beyond 05 because of the missing reverse light, but my idea is to add a strobe for the reverse light.

I'm all about "attempting" to do some mods on Cecilia myself, but I would need that or looking over my shoulder to help! And maybe a little direction too!

If you need help or want me to install them, let me know. I had to add a reverse light to mine since there are no decent aftermarket lights for a 2005. It's an easy job, just make sure you have the parts ie. the back up light and tail lights. I have all the parts for the wiring.

I'd love to make a Lighting Clinic if it doesn't conflict with any of my road trips.
