huh?

as for the thing in the top left, it's just a wedge being used to pry out the backplate to gain access to the aux/usb module. I nabbed the pic from an old diy thread.

He means for the TRAY u can get for it and i had no idea there was a USB port up there with the AUX now i am gonna look to see if there is a USB on mine

only 08's and up have the usb standard

I have the tray and it doesn't use those.

Others have said CD jewel cases fit sitting on them at just the right angle for you to read the edge labels.

usb is not standard it's part of the ipod package, forget the exact name.

No, USB is part of the Bluetooth package. '07 Bluetooth didn't have it, and USB was added to the Bluetooth package starting from '08. The iPod adapter (dealer installed accessory) is yet another, completely separate way to attach an iPod and does not include USB -- this is the one that has an iPod dock connector in the secret dash compartment.

My former '08 MCSa had the 2 rubber nubs in the cubby hole but my '09 MCSa doesn't.

when you put cd cases in there with the edges with the labels on them facing out the rubber holds the cds elevated so when you hit a bump they dont clack into each other. its perfect for sliding about 8 cd cases in there

My 09 MCS doesn't have 'em, but I would assume they're to hold CD's?
