I remember when I was in high school, there were these jocks that flipped over a teachers car (VW Beatle). I remember it well because I wasn't a jock and when the teacher came out, they out ran me  So I was the one who got the blame...

So I was wondering, how many people do you think it would take to pick up a Mini. Average size guys (165 to 200 pounds each).

Really, could 8 people do it. Plus it' small, so can you get enough people around it (for example, I know you can't get 25 people around it). I don't know the weight

Well... the MC weighs 2,480 lbs.... if each guy lifts 165 lbs., thats... 15 guys. I had a VW bug back in the '70's, I don't know what they weigh, but it had to be less. I recall picking up one end and swinging it around, but not flipping it over. Mostly, I recall having to push it each time to start it!

10 people would have to lift 250 pounds each. With less than optimal handholds, that's pretty tough.

I can flat out pick up ~360 lbs with two hands (this is about 8" off the ground already and im not sure how low my MINI sits)...and do so about 3 days a week at the gym with the smith rack and im not a big guy...im sure a bigger guy could pick up 475-550+ lbs...Im going out on a limb here and saying that 5-6 normal big guys could flip a mini....out the biggest 3 in the middle (to lift) and 2 guys on the far side with the windows down pulling the MINI downward....if you need a 6th man just put him on the lifting side on on the front wheel well...hopfully the side molding wont come off...

how many? ... when i was in high school, the football team picked up my Mini and put it in the bed of a pickup truck (don't know how many of 'em, it was just there when i found it ....)
... and a couple years later, I came out of class at college and found it turned sideways in a parking spot - right between two vans ... had to wait for someone to leave before i could ...

I worked with a guy who drove a fiat 500 and other guys would have fun with his car too; one day a burley mouth-breather came along and grabbed the bumper and lifted the whole back end - with the driver in the car! The driver started the fiat, threw it in reverse and said "You can let it down anytime now ... "

it's much easier that that, it only takes ONE to pick up a MINI, here's how:

I get in the car, turn the key, start the car, and drive away. There, I just picked up the MINI

Options #2:
Get out a jack, put it under the MINI. pump it a few times; there, you just picked up a MINI
