stupid window

symptoms:

-wont go up or down normally. (i have to constantly flip the toggle)
-after getting out of the car and locking the doors, the window will open
about a quarter to a half inch!
-oh yea, and theres a big yellow flashing light on the screen above the
steering wheel with the window icon.

any way for me to fix this without going back to the dealer? grrrrrrr.

I think there is a way to reset it. I'm going to help bump this page so other experts can help you out.

Roll the window up and hold the toggle for a minute. Roll the window down and hold the toggle for a minute. System resets. Should open and close like the other above average intelligent windows.

My passenger window does this every now and then and this process works to fix it...

Might want to at least mention it to the dealer. Sounds like the reset fixes the symptom but there could be something causing the actual problem that they can fix.

Great fix. How in the world did you come up with it?

Scheduled oil changes are free. When you first turn the car on there is a message in the OBC (the digital readout on the tach) that will tell you when it needs to be changed. Or once every year.
